Hey everyone. Today was a pretty good day, although it didn't follow "the plan" exactly. Ever since I started checking a couple weeks ago, the weather forecast has included rain pretty much everyday we're up north. A lot of the things Michelle and I want to do are outdoor activities, so I knew it would all be dependent on weather. We tried going to the state park today, but ended up being rained out. We spent the rest of the day at my grandparents' cabin, which was a far enough drive away that we were out of the rain storm.
I do enjoy being out at the cabin because it's a place to rest and relax. It almost feels cut off from the rest of the world... well, in a way. Like I've been saying about this whole vacation in general, it's nice to take a break from everything and get away. We will give the state park another go tomorrow and hopefully I can still show Michelle around town before we head back to Wisconsin.
Sorry for the brief posts. I definitely have droopy eyes as I'm sitting in the hotel bed and I know I should get some sleep. Tomorrow will be Wrong Way Corrigan Day and Yellow Pig Day... yeah... those are things apparently... not much advise I can give with those.
