Hey everyone. I'm going to keep this brief because, once again, I should already be in bed. We as people are social creatures, and while we all fall on different places of the introvert/extrovert spectrum, I think it's safe to say that we all need some degree of social interaction. Sometimes I forget that and start to let my thoughts run a little rampant when I'm by myself for too long. For example, I didn't do much over the weekend and when I did go out, I was by myself with minimal social interaction.
As you probably picked up from yesterday's blog, I also have a lot of other thoughts weighing on my mind. Between grad school, prepping for student staff training, and personal responsibilities, I feel like I'm balancing plates except that several of them are wobbly right now. It doesn't seem like any of them have fallen off the stick and smashed on the floor, but like I said, there's definitely wobble.
So, I want to take a moment to thank Michelle for being patient and open. We ended talking about some stuff (mostly grad school worries) and I legitimately feel better now. Granted, the plates are still wobbly, but even talking with Michelle over Skype helps to fulfill my social needs. So thank you Michelle. I love you.
Tomorrow will be National Milk Chocolate Day (not to be confused with Chocolate Milk Day, which I'm sure is another holiday) and Buffalo Soldiers Day.
