Behemoth Desk

Hey everyone. Over the past week, I made plans to get a "new" desk and an actually new entertainment stand. The desk came here today and outside of it being a behemoth to carry upstairs, I like it. I still need to sort through belongings and fully utilize some of the cabinet space, but it just has more space all around and it doesn't feel like my computer is eating up all the area. The entertainment center should hopefully be here in the next week. Once that arrives, I can actually have all of my game systems in the living room and not just use some drawers.

I think the reason I've been getting these furniture items is that I want to take more ownership with this apartment. Yes, the school provides furniture and my desk had been working just fine, but it wasn't mine. I'm not sure if I can give the thought justice over text, but I wanted to look around and think "some of this bigger stuff is mine". It will definitely be a pain when the time comes to move, but hey, another bridge for another time, right?

With a couple of grad school deadlines looming over my head, I should get some rest so I can really attack tomorrow. Speaking of tomorrow, it will be Chocolate Day and the nice pairing of Tell the Truth Day and Global Forgiveness Day.
