Hey everyone. Merry Christmas! Overall, it was a pretty good holiday. There's always something that doesn't go according to plan, but I got to spend time with family, enjoy some good food, have fun playing the dice game and some card games, and even had good weather for the drive to and from the family.
I know that not a lot of people read this, but I do want to say that I am thankful for all of the positives in my life. I have many supportive friends and family members, I doing okay when it comes to taking care of myself, and I even have the freedom and opportunity to work on a graduate degree. I know this doesn't typically happen for another week, but next year, I want to set out and be more expressive with my thanks and continue to make sure of the resources/opportunities around me.
I'd love to wax poetically some more, but I should get some sleep. Not too much planned tomorrow, but I think I might try to nab some after-Christmas sales. Definitely not waiting for a store to open, but it'll still be an adventure. Tomorrow will be National Candy Cane Day and National Whiner's Day (which I will try not to celebrate).
