Bite-sized exploration

Hey everyone. I got to explore a new place today. I went to Red Robin for dinner and decided to wander a little after that... well, okay, by "wander", I mean down the sidewalk to the rest of the strip mall-style complex that the Red Robin was attached to.

The first store was a kitchen supplies store where I picked up some glass dishes from their outlet section. Then I went into Gordon Food Service, which could best be described as a mini-bulk grocery store. It's apparently a thing in the east Midwest, but this was my first time in one. The store itself was small for a grocery store but everything was being sold in bulk. My immediate thought was "why haven't I been coming here for program supplies?" but I got a couple of things for my own kitchen. The place doesn't even require a membership ala Sam's Club so I'm probably going to go back there in the future to get a better look of what they have to offer. (I didn't mull around too much because I wasn't sure how late they were open.) It was nice to do a little exploration, even if it was a couple of stores on a block I've driven by many times before.

Alright, I don't necessarily feel tired, but I need to sleep. Tomorrow will be International Day of Persons with Disabilities and the National Christmas Tree Lighting out in DC.

DFTBA
