A weird lack of snow

Hey everyone. So I went gaming today and took part in the store's stocking stuffer sale solely on Saturday. (Certainly a mouthful.) Anyway, I purchased an over-sized stocking for a few bucks and everything that could fit inside was on sale. I learned a few games after that, although it was a small group today.

I then went to a co-worker's Christmas party and her house had so many Christmas lights and displays. It definitely stuck out compared to the other houses and I even saw an old co-worker from last year.

With all of the Christmas-type activities, today was only missing one thing: snow. Yeah, yeah, I know I'm going to want to change my answer in a couple months, but it feels weird to not have any snow on December 5th. Okay, clarification: It feels weird to not have any snow on December 5th... in northern Wisconsin.

So having snow can be annoying when you're snowed in or your car won't start, but you could argue it really signals the Christmas season. A lack of snow hasn't stopped anyone from holiday festivities, but again, it just seems weird. Hopefully I can at least have a white Christmas.

Alright, that was enough rambling about snow (or the lack thereof). I've been starting to doze off at the computer, so I need some sleep. Tomorrow will be World Soil Day and St. Nicholas Day. Make sure to leave out your shoes for presents like oranges!

DFTBA
