A truly lazy day

Hey everyone. Well, with no obligations when it came to work or grad school, I took today as a truly lazy day. Fitting with the season, it included a few Christmas movies on TV and some laundry (with nearly everyone gone, there's not much concern about finding an empty machine). Days like today remind me that it will be nice when I don't have to worry about grad school, but at the same time, I know the program will get me to bigger and better places.

My plans are still slightly in the air, but at the very least, I'm going to try getting all work stuff finished tomorrow. I think it will be easier without students frequently walking by my office in order to get to and from their rooms. After tomorrow, I will still need to pack but before you know it, it'll be Christmas Eve and I'll have made the drive up north.

Even though tomorrow will be notably more low-key than the past month, I still need sleep, so off I go. Tomorrow will be the Winter Solstice Day which is the shortest day of the year, which apparently also makes it Short Girl Appreciation Day and National Flashlight Day. People certainly do enjoy poking fun, don't they.

DFTBA
