I probably should have gone to bed an hour ago because I was kind of tired at that point. Fortunately, I'm still tired, so the plan is to keep this brief so I can fall asleep shortly after posting. I spent half of the day with Michelle before taking her to the airport and then the other half of the day was pretty unstructured. I did a little for grad school and a little for personal stuff, but nothing too exciting. I know saying this is a continuation from previous days, but now that things have started to calm down at work, I can start to do other stuff like go through my personal email and watch YouTube. In moderation, of course, but still, more than zero.
I'm definitely catching up on the vloggers I subscribe to, but one video I watched today was about being creative. The vlogger said that the biggest thing with being creative is just to make stuff and understand that you won't like everything you make. He mentioned having a lot on his plate like multiple online series and a short film, and since he got so embedded in each of these projects, he would need to wait a month or two before assessing if he liked the final product. Fortunately, I feel like I've developed a similar mindset for this blog and the han photo set. There are days where I just throw a blog post together or snap a quick photo and call it a day, but it's still better than nothing. Plus, people have been liking the han photos, so it's nice to have that feedback from others.
On a related note, tomorrow is day 100 of the adventures with han. What? I know that 100 is a fairly arbitrary number in the context of a calendar, but it's still odd to think that I've had 100 days of this little photography endeavor. I was thinking of punching some figures (especially since every photo will be 1% of the set by definition), so that might be a good part of tomorrow's blog.
With tomorrow being Memorial Day, I will get the day off, but I do have things I want to get accomplished. There's a gaming meet-up I might partake in, but we'll have to see how the morning goes. In terms of holidays, tomorrow till be Cookie Monster's Birthday, National Tap Dance Day, and *pause* wait, Nerd/Geek Pride Day!? Okay, I probably should do something to celebrate. If people see me tomorrow, kick my butt into gear in the morning so I can enjoy the afternoon being nerdy slash geeky. Until then, good night!
