Minneapolis Road Trip - Day 2

Hey everyone,

So, since daylight savings time is a thing, and i have lunch plans tomorrow, I'll keep this entry brief. Today was a good day overall. I got to sleep in without being woken up by slamming doors and spent most of the day at a game store with college friends.  If i lived in Minneapolis, i would definitely be going there on a weekly basis with people because it was awesome. The store is run by a game publisher (fantasy flight) and they have a very extensive library of games to play there. It was focused on their own games but not exclusively (although it was missing games i like, like forbidden island/desert and betrayal). They also had a restaurant with an actual hot food menu rather than just vending machines. No offense to gnome games but learning elder sign was a little bit better while enjoying poutine. My only notable knock against the store was how close together the gaming tables were and it was getting really loud and difficult to concentrate at points.

We played a few games, although we spent a while deliberating on what to play since everyone had different experiences and we wanted to find things for the whole group. After gaming, a few of us went to dinner (which was equally loud), and then to see the house some of my friends are renting. Definitely weird to think my friends are living in houses on a more permanent basis rather than only apartments. In any case, a good day with friends.

Today is Cereal Day and National Frozen Food Day, which are definitely two distinct holidays. Didn't enjoy either of those foods today, but I'm sure some of the restaurant food was frozen at some point in its journey.
