A Relaxing Start to a New Month

Hey everyone. I'm a little in shock because I was expecting the weekend to be this big, bad experience and it really wasn't. Sure, some residents were loud as they were waiting in the lounge after yesterday's blog but it wasn't colossally different from other weekend nights. While I am technically writing this blog post Monday morning, I know I shouldn't jinx myself by talking too much about it.

I know it's cliche, but it's hard to believe we're in November now. Fortunately, some of that disbelief came from walking around campus and enjoying really nice weather. I can certainly think back to snowy Halloweens and it was a little disconcerting to hear that we've already had snow in the air. I'm not one to frequently check the weather forecast, but it looks like we may have a few more warm days before a temperature drop. That's kind of expected though, and at least there are plenty of season warm drinks to enjoy. Speaking of which, I really need to make wassail this year just to try it out.

I can't say I did much else to blog about today. I'm hoping to use today being the first of the month as an opportunity to be better about some life habits. Some of that would include making better use of my time, being proactive with some of my responsibilities, and getting plenty of sleep. Fortunately DST will help me, but I should still wrap up. Tomorrow will be Cookie Monster Day and Fill Our Staplers Day.

DFTBA
