MusiCamp 2009

This week was the week of MusiCamp at BSU. It's really odd to think that the last time I attended MusiCamp was four years ago (not counting the summer I helped out as a pseudo-staff person). I was able to go to the finale concert today, which was actually pretty good. As to be expected, I've had various MusiCamp memories come to mind, not to mention melodies from choir, band, and jazz band pieces. It's kind of sad because since I was at camp for 6 years, I probably learned 45-55 different pieces, but I can only remember a fraction of them. Okay, there are some that I can remember but can't find the same arrangement online as the one that we sung at camp (Jubilate Deo with the brass quintet and organ, Go Where I send Thee). With that said, I might throw more on later when I can remember/find them online. Fortuately, if I wanted since I'm still home, I can watch some of the video tapes of the finale concerts through the years. Now, if I only had enough time to hook up the VHS/DVD converter before I go...

Overall, I've been doing well. The 4th of July was good: I went to the carnival with different high school friends, saw the fireworks on the lake, saw the parade with the old h.s. marching band. I can't think of any other big thing that's happened since the Missouri trip. (Oh, the math class I'm taking is going well, with a lot of being review material with new spins thrown in the mix. There was a midterm on Friday which went pretty well overall... but I'll have to wait until Monday to be sure!)

So, I think I might have caught up in terms of blogging about life *fingers crossed*... here's to not horribly falling behind!
