Where to start... I think that everyone has a unique story to tell and without those stories, how can other people get to know who we are and where we come from? Okay, so it's a combination of that, knowing I have a bad memory, and other factors that encourage me to keep on trying on with this blog business. I think the thing that has worked against me in the past is feeling that I have to make a grand entry, while in fact simply writing a line or two and clicking "publish" or whatever can also convey a moment in time.
I occasionally follow the blogs of some of my friends (which is why I'm here at this site), but since people can randomly stumble onto the blogs of others, I figure I might as well give a little information about myself.
I am a senior at the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities about a month or so away from finishing a B.S. in Mathematics. I originally took to math because I enjoyed working with numbers and it was my best subject. After four years, I've discovered that I'd rather keep working with people rather than punch numbers and sit in a cubicle. At this point, I don't have a job secured for next year (scary to think about), but I do have options. Since I am about to enter some professional world or another, the issue of privacy regarding Internet activity has popped up in mind, but I think I can make it for the best, while using this blog as a way to keep in touch with friends from home, high school, and college.
(Wow, it feels like I'm using a lot of run-on sentences tonight.)
Today is one of the last days of our spring break, so unfortunately tomorrow means that it's back to work. I hope to make additions to this blog often, even if it's minimal. I will attempt to transfer my older blog entries to this site, so I can start to close down old accounts on other sites.
Have a nice night to all that may be reading this, and I hope to be back soon.
