6 days left...

Hello everyone,

Well, I got back from the Duluth trip yesterday, which went very well. Here's a brief summary of the stuff we did:

Thursday:
packed up, headed out of town, found a really nice camping spot at Jay Cooke State Park (which is maybe 1/2 hour from Duluth)

Friday:
explored Jay Cook (including a long shaky bridge), went and explored Gooseberry Park again (we did last year, but we missed out on some stuff before, so we found those places as well as wound up right outside one of our campsites from last year), went to Park Point and played frisbee right off the lake (really beautiful stretch of beach), grilled hot dogs at the campsite

Saturday:
went on a tour at Glensheen Manor (and Sean from school was there working!), went to the zoo (one of the most entertaining things was having the peacocks chasing around praire dogs), met up with Kirby, wandered about Duluth some, went to Grandma's, saw Deep Blue Sea at the IMAX, saw Pirates 3 at Duluth 10

Sunday:
packed up the tents and such, explored an area by a bridge/bike path/dam, drove back home

Since I don't have a whole lot of time on the computer, I just figured I should outline all of the stuff, but overall, the trip was fun. It was nice to hang out with Kirby some, and seeing Sean at Glensheen was a pleasant surprise. Also, it was nice to spend some time with just Chris, Erik, and Megann before I leave for camp.

Speaking of camp, I move in 6 days from now. I'm getting excited about it all, but it still feels like I have a lot to do. Mainly I have to buy and pack things I will need (including costume pieces and such), but I also need to find places for my college stuff to set while I'm gone. Apparently my sister will be in and out of the house throughout the summer, so I don't have her to be a room that's crammed with stuff. Oh well, I'm sure I can find places for stuff before Friday.

Well, I should probably wrap stuff up. I'll try to blog at least once more before I leave for Brainard and camp. I hope everyone is doing well. Talk to everyone later, take care and God bless.
