So, I was hoping to basically type out "I'm done with my summer classes!" multiple times with big colorful letters and call it an entry. Unfortunately, the Intro to Special Ed class decided to throw one last screwball at me. I was going over the components of the service project and realized that I never had the on-site supervisors go through the paperwork that talks about a group's demographics and the like. So now, I have to get in touch with the Special Olympics person here and down in Higginsville. Unfortunately, with tomorrow being a pretty big holiday and the the central office is closed on Friday, I have to wait until Monday to figure out one of the two forms. Hopefully I can get in touch with the other person on Friday since I want to be able to drive up to Minnesota immediately after.
In short, I'm kind of ticked because this is cutting in my vacation time, which is already very short. I really hope I can get things in place so I can drive up on Friday since I'll get to see various family at the cabin this weekend.
On the positive side, every other thing for my class is done. The lesson plan, the journal entries, all the chapter activities. All done. Even my reflection on the whole project. At least that means that I can use tomorrow for personally productive stuff and not worry about class because there is absolutely no point in thinking about classes tomorrow.
Since a lot of my day was spent taking care of final components for the class, there's not much else to say here. An early happy 4th of July, though! DFTBA
